(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys i have a segate expansion 320 gb and i once remember the last time is used it before it stopped working i was backing up data from a windows xp because i was going to update it and then the laptop restarted and it was formatting the hard drive(the screen was blue) or something with the hard drive and the laptop turned of and my device was still connected after that day it didin't work i connect it to my laptop and i hear is a fast ........ sound like tazer being fired somewhat and it sounds like a disk is being read how can i fix it plzz.

If your laptop sounds like this in the video then yeah it's a failure/corrupt.
Bluescreen could be or most likely a bad ram. To test for bad RAM download Memtest+ (32bit=86/64bit=64 for Operating System)
You must login or register to view this content. You will need to burn it to cd or just create a bootable usb with ISO file.
This test can take hours to find. Also remove extra RAM to get accurate test. Requires you to open RAM slot on bottom of laptop if there is one.
