I personally would recommend building one if that is what you would like to do I could help you pick out the right parts and what not.

Mac is said to be the best for graphic design although I'm not a Mac fan I'd have to agree but I went ahead and built a beast of a computer for alot less then a so so Mac

Build your own and i would reccomend the i5 3570k or if your on a budget the AMD phenom BE 965.

Build one mate. For £600, you can get a HP desktop, fair enough. But for the same £600, you can make a beast computer :p
