Post: Will these specs run BF3 on Ultra smoothly?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am building a new computer and these are my specs:

- 3rd Gen Intel Core i7 3770K Quad Core CPU, 3.5GHz
- Z77 Chipset Motherboard
- 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Ram (Should i upgrade to 12GB?)
- nVidia GeForce GTX660Ti 2GB (Should i upgrade to 3GB?)

Will i be able to run BF3 on ultra no worries, perfectly, or should i
make those upgrades stated above? What is the minimum required to run
BF3 on Ultra?

Cheers

Ps: I'm guessing this would run MW3 Ultra if it can run BF3?

These charts shows FPS data for your GPU. 2GB is enough as long as you stick to 1 monitor but if you're going to use multiple for gaming I'd get more than 2GB. Now on the card itself you should probably get a 670 or above if you want to run the game on ultra in a 64 player match. It'll run it but it will dip sometimes. I got 2x 6870 running and I can get 90ish FPS then BAM it drops to 30ish but then goes back up.
I personally have 16GB of RAM at 1600MHz, I don't come close to using it all. They say 8GB is the good zone but at the current juncture you are at, you can always get more RAM if you need it but a GPU is a whole different card.

I got nearly the same specs as you but different graphics card (i got 580 direct cu2) I run ultra smoothly on 60-100 fps depends on map. you should be able to run it too smoothly

You should be fine with those settings. Won't be the smoothest, but it will run fine.
