Do you think I should just buy a new pc? My motherboard is kind of shitty as well (had it replaced 3 times because it over heated)

some more information about my pc : You must login or register to view this content.

I bought the pc (well my parents) from PC world, I told them to just to build one but they were being arrogant :luke:

What do you guys think? New pc all together? or just a new graphics card? I want to be able to play stuff like sleeping dogs, not BF3 or anything like that. I can run portal 2 (on low), sanandreas MP & SP, css and cs:go on low, l4d 2 on low and half life.

I know that if I buy a new motherboard, I would basically have to buy every part new, So I'd rather just go build another one, instead of getting new parts.

Just get a more modern Graphics card.. maybe something that can run Pixel Shader & Vertex Shader 5.0 and also one with higher video RAM.. at least 1GB.

The problem I'm having is finding one thats compatible with my set up. I don't know if I should buy another one because I'm worried it will fry my motherboard again lol. Could you maybe recommend one? I'll provide more info about my system if I can lol. Thanks

I dunno lol, anything cheap I guess :P, sorry.

I'm not good with buying parts, so I'd say around 30-60 I guess?

Hmm, I need to know the mobo really, but here is a graphics card which is compatible with most setups. The only downfall is, it's £90. For your price, you won't really get to play any games at all, unless you find a mega bargain. Anyway, here is the card.

Download CPU-Z then click the "Mainboard" tab. If it doesn't say there, then you may need to open up your computer and look for the model number on the motherboard there. As for the graphics card, don't buy anything £30-£60, you'll struggle to run anything decent. The best graphics card for that sort of thing I would say is a You must login or register to view this content. or an You must login or register to view this content.. Both are fairly similar specs but the AMD graphics card are usually much cheaper.
