(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Acer feels the need to pre-install crap.

I have this program called AlaunchX that when I start my computer up it installs stuff. Right now its trying to install Office 2010 (when I don't have/need or want it)

I've tried removing it from start up on MSCONFIG but no luck there, keeps running on start up.

How can I remove this?

My one laptop has Tune Up Utilities 2013 on it. (Don't know if I actually recommend the program it self or not) But, I know it + Avast Internet Security have their own uninstall options and start-up options. They are both currently installed on an Acer Aspire 5515, but I don't remember seeing that program on mine. I don't know if this will help you or not, just came across this post because I am having some hard drive issues.

Did you also look to see if you have any traces of MS Office installed? It may be something from a trail version. I know some Windows comes with a 30 day trial. Maybe something in there, trying to re-install itself?

Whenever I buy a OEM machine I immediately reinstall windows so I completely avoid these issues altogether.

I reinstall Windows every few months, this is the first time this has ever come up.

Google is the first thing I think everyone tries.
Nothing came up about how to remove it at all.
