What operating system is it?

Is there just one operating system or do you got a duel boot going on?

This is very vague, could you give more detail? Date you bought it, etc.

Check for the following before you start:

  • Power button on the front of the computer
  • Power button on the back of the computer
  • Power button on the power strip/surge

If those are all on, try this:

  • Check for loose or disconnected power cables
  • Check the power supply voltage switch (should be on the back of your power supply) and change it to the legal voltage for your country (search on google)
  • Try out a different power outlet
  • If all else fails, you may have to buy a new power cord, but make this the last option

Good luck

Check if the PSU is dead. I dont know about laptop computers but when my desktop would not turn on, it was the PSU that had died.

psu usually is a last resort. try other simple things first! Smile
