This is very vague, could you give more detail? Date you bought it, etc.

Check for the following before you start:

Power button on the front of the computer
Power button on the back of the computer
Power button on the power strip/surge

If those are all on, try this:

Check for loose or disconnected power cables
Check the power supply voltage switch (should be on the back of your power supply) and change it to the legal voltage for your country (search on google)
Try out a different power outlet
If all else fails, you may have to buy a new power cord, but make this the last option

follow what K5 said to do i had one that didnt turn on and it was just the power cord i had to buy a new one

Check if the PSU is dead. I dont know about laptop computers but when my desktop would not turn on, it was the PSU that had died.

psu usually is a last resort. try other simple things first! Smile
