(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I don't know alot about computer stuff so I would like it if anyone could explain to me what has happened to my graphics card.

So I have a HP touchsmart 520 PC and I know that graphics card kind of sucks but it worked fine in photoshop and some other programs. But one day after photoshop froze I closed it out and opened it back up and I got a message saying that it was turning off some graphics option in the preferences menu. So it said to update the graphics driver and then try and turn the option back on, so I did but it didn't work. I then re installed photoshop and that didn't work, so I don't know what it could be. Also in Sai some things look alittle different with certain brushes. If anyone could help me figure it out it would be much appreciated :y:

Before you write off the card, does everything else appear normal in other programs, desktop, etc? If so it may not be your card, but a corrupted install of photoshop. It might be necessary to uninstall it and re install completely. Worse case you may need to manual uninstall.

Yea everything is alright on the desktop and everything, that's why I didn't know what it could be because I did re install photoshop but it didn't change anything so I was just a little confused.

This has happened to me a few random times on my "normal" computer (atleast I think its the same problem)

In my case it says that the driver for the GPU has stoped working, though it resets itself immediately.

If you still have the problem after restarting I guess its the card thats acting up.
If you have it only when opening the program, I think there's something weird with the program rather than your GPU.
