(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU,

A few months ago I bought a Sony Vaio E15128CX/S. The specs (for me) are really great:

-Quad Core
-8GB RAM
-1 TB Harddrive
-Intel i7
-Windows 8...

I really just can't stand the Windows 8 on it. This computer has been freezing a lot, and I'm starting to think it's because a lot of the apps I have don't support Windows 8 yet. The computer came default with 8, so I don't know if it's a good idea to put a version on it that it didn't have before. Help me out if you can please, share your opinion.

Thank you!

Edit: When it crashes, the first thing to crash is the taskbar, then everything else just becomes unusable (I can't even open Task Manager), and I'm forced to shutdown the computer by holding the power button. This is what happens everytime for me.

I tried Windows 8 and i must say Windows 7 is better and more stable imo, why not try Windows 7 and if you feel Windows 8 was better just re-install. Did your laptop come with a recovery disk ?, if so just wipe your drive and install Windows 7. If you have no recovery disk you can create one, just search youtube there are some tutorials on how to do it. If you dont have any disks to create a recovery then you can just download Windows 8 and make a bootable USB and install from that and just use your product key (sticker on bottom of laptop) to activate. Another option is to partition your HDD and dual boot, heres a tutorial on how to install windows 7 You must login or register to view this content. if you have no product key you can just use an activator
.

Thanks for putting so much time with answering! I will try to do this Smile
