(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Yesterday I made a new key-bind setup, but when I fucked up completely I pushed the "Reset" button, in belief that only the key bindings got reset. Well, my screen settings and all got reset, and now my screen tears like a bitch especially when flying jet in 3rd person, and fast camera movement. I had this problem earlier, but then it stopped after a while(not sure how), and it's just been working ever since, up until now. I know my setup, pulls Ultra, as that's what I've always been using, AND the tearing still occurs on preset: LOW.

I run BF3 @ Preset: Ultra

Specs:
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V LX
CPU: IntelĀ® Core i5-2500K (@stock)
GPU: EVGA 670 2GB (@stock)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 8GB
PSU: Corsair TX 750W PSU

Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster S24B300(2ms and 60Hertz)

I've tried repairing the game, cleaning the system for dust, made a clean install of new BIOS and drivers, taken out and looked over the GPU unit, lowering settings. I've also tried v-Sync, it takes away some of it, but not all + It creates input lag.

Is my monitor to weak as my GPU renders out 70 -80 - 90 FPS, and my monitor can only handle 60?

monitor seems to be the problem since bad stuff happans when you get way over 60fps on a 60hz monitor its ok if its like 65 but 80-90 will get you problems try to turn it up even more or take off a overclock you got

Turn what up, and the card is at stock. And do you have any experience with adaptive v-sync?

V-sync + limit FPS to 60 (using external program e.g. Dxtory) is what I use and I never see screen tearing in BF3.

I got it to work. I put on adaptive vSync, which capped my frames at 61 which my monitor handles better than 80, smooth as butter now. Thanks for the input! =]
