(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so I'm thinking of buying a MacBook Pro.

I love the style of Mac so I want something over a windows PC. The main reason I think I want the mac is for iMovie since I will use that alot. Also here in Australia they cost $1000

So is it really worth it or can any give me some help

Depends on how many Windows applications you use.

It's not worth it, you're basically buying a locked-down PC at double the price because of a picture of a partially-eaten apple sitting on top of it.

Don't buy a Mac just because it looks 'cool'. Actually do some research.

Go for one, they're brilliant. I am using one right now.
If you want to use windows applications, then all you have to do is download a Virtual Machine(Parallels) and then download Windows 8, or whatever version of windows you want. You can download these from the piratebay. This allows you to run both mac and windows at the same time.
