(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am having a problem on my pc with Ubuntu not installing.

For the record

• I have ubuntu 12.04 running on my laptop
  
• I have tried installing via flashdrive
  
• via dvd
  
• via c:/ drive
  

Whenever I boot into ubuntu I get this screen below.

An underscore blinks just like in a terminal window but then will stop blinking as if frozen.
My computer is definitely capable of running Ubuntu. I have an i7, 16gb ram, etc. etc.
