(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I suprisingly haven't seen this posted, but close of it has:

When people say get a screenie etc. this is how to do it.

First, go to the page that you want to "screenie"

Then, Click this button:

You must login or register to view this content.
You must login or register to view this content.
(location of button varies by keyboard)

Or on laptops, Hold the "Fn" button and press insert ("Ins"):
You must login or register to view this content. You must login or register to view this content.

Then open up GIMP (to download GIMP free, go here: You must login or register to view this content.)
(Photoshop works too, but GIMP is free)

With GIMP open, Paste the image into the screen (Ctrl+V).

Then do anything you may need to do editing-wise, then Save it as a .png file (remember what you name it)

Now if you want to put it on the internet, keep reading, If not then stop here.

To put it on quickly, go to You must login or register to view this content. and click upload.
In my opinion, photobucket (You must login or register to view this content.) is better and does the same thing, but you must register to use photobucket.

Now paste the link to people and you are done!

The following 4 users say thank you to Nexxy for this useful post:

Yea, its just that when I tell people to screen something, they are like WTF are you talking about. I'm not downloading some stupid software just so I can give you a picture, so I came here to look for this post, it wasn't here. So I made it so I can just link them instead of explaining it.

Also something else I found pretty amazing. A lot of people don't know you can copy the text from an error.

Ctrl + C is the default keyboard command for copying text. This also applies to an error. So the next time you get an error come up on your screen and you're trying to write it down for google, just Ctrl + C, and then Paste it into google (Ctrl + V) and there's you error!

Simples.
