(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a dual boot laptop, windows 7 ultimate that has many issues for me right now but is my main system and then I did have windows 8. Both worked fine but windows 8 is, well, horse.

I downloaded 2 modded windows 7 iso's and installed them both, neither could connect to my router. They both found it easily and neither gave a real reason why it didn't work. Anyone got any ideas?

When I Upgraded to windows 8 then downgraded to a Cracked version of 7 Ultimate I lost a few of my drivers Including my Network driver so that may be your issue but maybe not I am not great at this kind of stuff.

Check that your network adapter is set to use the same bandwidth frequency (or whatever it's called) as the router you're attempting to connect to. That was a problem I had to overcome last week on a new laptop.

Just connect your laptop via Ethernet then run windows updates, this will then download your missing drivers.

plug your ethernet cable and enter the router configurations and try to see whats wrong

I doubt theres anything wrong, i would say its driver related. Once he updates im sure it will work fine.

i also recommend only installing one O.S. it could generate some incompatibilitys :|

How would I do this? I've never had any issue like this and never had to tamper with either finding out my router bandwidth frequency or my adapter's

I used the ethernet cable and still didn't connect.

I've also had dual boot before and it's been fine, this is the first time anything has gone wrong

If that's the case then ignore my prior suggestion. Does it not request a password or something? Restart router? Log into router via a computer/laptop that works and check security settings?

I've restarted the router, I'll have a double check on settings on the router but it works fine for literally every other device just not when I try dualboot from these modded iso's, but it connects to other networks, I've only tried free ones though as they don't have passwords
