(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys and gals? So here is my problem, i turned on my pc recently and tried to dl the mega drive collection game saves for ps3 i then got a virus/spyware, now when i turn on my pc i cannot access anything i tried going to the bios menu and starting in safe mode but it crashed and has since learned and adapted that i cannot access the menu anymore! I dont have a boot disc for windows as it wasnt genuine and have no others options i can select at all!

The spyware is a police tng saying i have illegal times on my pc and something to do with porn/child porn and if i pay 100 pounds it will be removed which obviously is some sort of scam? Any ideas how i can sort this? I dont have another pc to boot it up from so feel pretty stuck?

I also have no anti virus. Lol, just the free avg.

Sounds like scam ware (yes you do get that) any details on what it said. May be able to find out what version it was and how to remove.
If you get a copy of a Linux OS you can repair windows that way and remove it. Not going to lie it a sort of hard process to complete for anybody who nevered used a Linux OS.
Easy way forward is to wipe your HDD and reinstall windows. Need some SATA cables and a reformatting software to complete that process.

I believe you got the Ukash virus, if you can get access to safe mode you can remove the virus by changing / deleting some registry keys, here's a tutorial:

Ubuntu can be loaded from a disc or USB.
Just need to select the boot menu and pick the source you want to load from.

Once you install ubuntu it reformats your HDD which means all data is deleted. This means your copy of windows is gone. My advice would be to find your windows key on windows pirate windows when being on ubuntu or download a pirated/cracked version.

Is another way which is finding out what program that is and removing it. Without the need of using ubuntu also saves all your stuff.
