Do not get a GTxxx anything. Those are not gaming cards. What you want is a GTX 650 Ti or above, or a HD7750 or above.

Alongside that you need some memory. How many modules are installed at the moment, what frequencies, etc?

I'd say 7790 or yeah a 650 Ti, can't go wrong with either one. Look at benchmarks for the games you'll be playing. Don't worry much about bottlenecks with those cards, Q6600 isn't THAT bad.

A Q6600 is a tad slower than a phenom x4 955 its still useable and I think it could handle a 7850 2gb or 660 before it bottlenecks, it won't be good for bf4 but bf3 etc its still fine

Video cards are backwards compatible with PCIe as far as I'm aware. Your card will just have its bandwidth limited.

Thanks for the reply I have tryed it in all my computers and its not working in any of them but I read online that I'm not the only one it could be a problem between 1.0 and 2.1
