Error… Cat invasion!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have a Lexar 8GB USB, It recently stopped working randomly. The light on it flashes really fast like its doing something but it doesn't show up in disk manager or in my computer. But I can see it on Device manager, under Universal Serial Bus. I have tried scanning for hardware changes, updating drivers and everything... Someone please help! Is there a way to fix this?

Try and see if it can be detected in another computer. Make sure you have restarted your own computer with it removed. If having it removed and then putting it in after reboot doesn't work; try booting with it already plugged in.

Flash Drives don't have a long life expectancy although the lights flashing on it quickly generally means there is processing that is occurring. If it works in another computer run an error check with the drive as there might be problems with it.

If it works and you are still having issues here and there, it then means the flash drive just might be going out. Expect a drive to last no more than 3 years without starting to get problems, especially if you take it places, leave it in the computer all day long, or from normal abuse and use.

User needs a dick
If it works with other computers and not yours, try formatting it. You will lose everything on it so don't do this if you need the content.

I'm a god.
You could try different slots too. But since USB's aren't high just buy a new one.
