(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been wanting to get a get a second display for my desktop now for a long time, but I have some questions regarding it. I will be using the Samsung SyncMaster S24B300 and the Asus VG248QE.

- I wanna be able to have to monitors, yet have my games ONLY running on one of them, is that possible? And if, how?
- Will having two monitors decrease the FPS while playing? Like having desktop, spotify and Chrome running on one monitor while a game running on the second?

Specs is in my desc.

Any inputs? Smile

Your games will by default always run in 1 monitor. And yes you could see an FPS decrease but thats only going to happen if you have a really old video card. By old I am talking about something like an nvidia 8600GT so if you have like something new you wont see any issues. If those are your specs in your sig then you would be fine and have nothing to worry about

How would the mouse cursor work out then? Do I need two mouses, or is there like a button that change between the screens?

You will only need one Mouse. Reason being is that with the two monitors the mouse switches screens when you go to the edge towards the other monitor.

Only need 1 mouse. Depending on the game there will be borders. If you wanna be able to do something in the other monitor you will have to alt tab out or play the game in windowed mode
