(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have tried a lot of different methods . Its a desktop and I have forgotten the password and I need some important files off of it can anyone help ?

Recovering the password? Its possible but its not worth the effort. As long as you dont have your files encrypted through windows you can use hiren's boot CD to remove the password for your account.

You could use the CMD method and get the hidden administrator... or just get a CD boot recovery password.

I tried the hidden admin method it didn't show me the password or anything and I everytime I tried the CD boot it wouldn't work

go into bios (restart computer and a message would pop up about your computer manufactor, spam f12 and it will give you options to boot from disks.) Also, you need to change the hidden admin password i think

I might of been wrong I though I bypassed it before but anyways try a tool call trinity rescue kit. I used it in the pass

you must of done something wrong with burning the files to the disc, you used PowerISO? When you check the CD, it should have files and not just one big file.
