Introduction

So after helping a friend restore his PC i've decided to make this tutorial. Why? Because it can become a pain for people trying to complete this on there first try. Why would you restore your PC you ask? Maybe some files on your PC are corrupt. Or maybe you have special information that needs to be removed. Or maybe you just want a fresh start so that your PC can run a bit faster. These are all very good reasons to pull through with this.

Setting Up The PC Restore

We're going to do this step by step and make it easy for people.

Step 1: Head over to your File Directories which is usually located on your task bar like You must login or register to view this content..

Step 2: You want to open up the Control Panel like You must login or register to view this content.. This allows you to select multiple options for your PC and it's safety. We will only be using one of these features in the Control Panel so that you can Restore your PC.

Step 3: Once you have your Control Panel opened, head over to the System and Security tab like You must login or register to view this content.. Then you want to scroll down to the option "File History" like You must login or register to view this content..

Step 4: Stop right there and click on "Recovery" like You must login or register to view this content..

Step 5: Now you can choose your means of restoring. You can restore your files, Restore your PC and keep your files, or just restore it to factory settings.

Hope this tutorial helped, if not, it's fine; but if so, glad I could help.
