You can log into your router, and make it so that the IP's of their phones/PC/ect can only get on the internet at certain times. Depends on the router you have, but look for something called Time Management or try looking under security settings.

I don't see how changing the password is any different from denying them access. If they ain't stupid, I think they would realize something isn't right, and go and reset the router anyways. Try setting up QoS on your router to prioritize your computer's traffic, it may help.
