In terms of speed and using your very own private VPS ip, yes its good. All you need is any Linux software (Ubuntu or CentOS works the best), install openvpn, and you could connect to the VPN by computer or phone (with OpenVPN connect application).

Could also be beneficial to improving your table routes tremendously, improving ping and download speeds across the globe. The more closer the VPS is to your area, the better it gets.

Meh i don't want to install linux :wato: I was just wondering though because what sucks about VPN's is that more that 1 person is on a server I almost get the same speed as when im off the vpn but it is slower... i feel bad for people who use CyberGhost Free i tried it out and my net was so slow over 100 people on 1 server :lol:

The VPS needs to be Linux or Windows, not your computer :p. Besides, Linux works the best on servers . You could host a website, host APIs, and host a VPN all on your server for a really cheap price.
