Disclaimer: Not my video. Enjoy.

Apparently 'review' cards that were sent out were able to switch between 4GB and 8GB. A batch of these cards got mixed into early shipments sent out to end users. The cards in question are early Sapphire cards. Cards from other manufactures will not and cannot be flashed, if you try this you will brick your card! To check and see if your card truly has 8GB of memory you need to disassemble your card and check the components on the main board of the card. You're look to see if the samsung chips installed are 4GB or 8GB.

If it's 8GB, you'll need Bios for the 8GB cards and the ATI Flashing program.

PLEASE NOTE! If you attempt this, you are doing so at your own risk! NEITHER Myself, NextGenUpdate, it's staff, its advertising partners, NGU's affiliates, the creator of the video, the makers of the ATI flashing program, AMD, OR Sapphire are responsible if you fuck up. You're attempting this at your own risk. If you don't know what you're doing, and you still do this, and you fuck up, you are an idiot. GLHF.
