To my utter horror, after playing legit for 3 months on a fresh account (another account with the same CID was banned previously), I got a message today stating that "This device has been banned." Has anyone else experienced this? I have never modded on this account, and ALWAYS use PSNpatch to spoof OFW. I am going to try logging on from another console and HOPE that my account is safe and that Bungie merely fixed their CID-unbanned-after-a-week flaw.

Any thoughts?

yep......i got this at midnight and was playing ironbanner in a match and got disconnected with "bee" error pushed me back into main menu and wanted to log on where this pop up, not so fast etc. showed up. i disabled cfw syscalls, no modding/cheating stuff, wasted my time. spend a lot of time in this game for nothing. this is my 2nd acc. i was almost done 3 chars....2 on 32 and the last 1 on 31.

happened to me last week. I am on habib 4.70 using spn patch psninja.

and what did u guys use for mounting games? so i used Irisman and when i get banned for the first time i mounted the game with Irisman too. i always use psnpatch, psninja, multiman for mounting...im on habib 4.66 cobra spoofed to 4.70

holy crap ! i guess imma get off my account for a while until we figure out what this is coming from, more than two months of legit play with 3 32s and almost all exotics, i'm not wasting my account ! please keep this updated if u figure out something

ok they can detect cfw but if u don't use psnpatch for cfw syscalls u will get a ban directly after login so i think its not a cfw detect ban.....if so we weren't able to play for month.

what makes me thinking is before i got the ban, there was a message that the servers maintenance will begin in a few minutes and all games will quit directly and kicks u to the main menu. i think its a new system security check what they implend....cause the next dlc will be realesed to sort out pirate games/dlc/etc from original ones.......think about it. this is the same way what they did last time 1 week before the dark below was released. first it went like a charm and in this week everybody had connection issues like hell. this is what happens to me now.

I just hope that they didn't ban my main account and instead only banned my CID. That would be a much better scenario

if the message at the login screen say "not so fast your DEVICE got banned" means console id and account from game are both banned.
