They take ages to patch glitches as well in their games and honestly I don't belive they care at all about the quality of there games once they have your money! Don't hate on me because I'm a little mad at EA but post what you think.
I think EA can be a little greedy at times. When BFBC2 first came out it had some issues I noticed, but I learned and continued playing, then they fixed it and it was a happy time. Until another patch release which resulted in me trading the game in.
Servers are a really good Idea if done correctly, you can't just purchase servers in a few locations. For example in the U.S they might have East and West.. What they need to do is Central, south eastern & western and north eastern & western. Yes it'll cost them some cash, but they need to realize that some countries such as America have a lacking infrastructure when it comes to internet. Like seriously compare Japan's internet & prices to America's.. Fail much?!? I mean I used to live in a rural area in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan and we only had dial-up available. While in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan they have places 10x as rural as where I lived and they have both dsl and cable.
I believe that when better quality internet such as Fiber Optic are available in more areas their games will receive less complaints.
As for bugs and glitches, normally they are rare (this shit happens with advanced coding as is used in today's world *get over it* ). Though I will admit sometimes it does take them awhile to fix the exact problem.
