Ive tried deleting the patch and re-installing it because its only started happening after the recent update.
If anyone an help please do!

this is your downloaded creation center items. find the UGC FIFA 12 file on your hard drive and delete it, then you should be all sweet.

Happened to me on Fifa '11 but it was when I opened my friends list or someone would message me my PS3 would freeze for a bit, But yeah.. You're probably better off on going with Lester's idea but what I had done was deleted it and re-installed it.
