use L1+x for passes , it works very great , and in defense try to defend with L2+x , sometimes it is good to double your opponent with x+o+L2

In Ultimate Team to build a strong team you need:
Buy all the players in in the starting formation and reserves that have the same module Ex. All players with 4-4-2
You need to have 100 chemistry
Buy some bugged player as Agbonlahor/Sturridge/David Luiz ext in BPL
Initially play offline trying to win tournaments simplest

After this steps you can play online (initially play against the user that have low chemistry)

and try to learn specific combos to shoot a goal , it is very usefull to train in the arena

HOW TO PLAY FIFA 12 UT:

-defense is all that matters, the easiest way to score is counters which is simple
-run a 5 man defense....because ur not that great
-use this team: You must login or register to view this content.
-dont play as the player defending the opposing player. play as another defender and try to cut off his passing lanes while using teammate contain (rb on xbox not sure on ps3)
-play safe defense meaning dont attack the opposing player who has the ball. wait for him and jostle him/contain him. if u attack him as he's bringing the ball down, he will just one-two pass it right thru ur team.
-now, offense: it all depends on the opponent's formation. if hes running a 451 or a 352 or something of the sort where he is overloading the midfield, its almost impossible to do anything offensively with this formation (5212) but its ok.
-dpad: also make sure u have on counter attack and team pressing which will help u alot. also, if its in 80+ minutes, slap on ultra attacking
-more offense: one two passing is important here. you have to be able to see the triangles, and if u cant, then sorry. also, use as many air attacks as u can. lob thru the fucking ball every now and then especially with the players on the team i made for u.

one two passing: LB+A for xbox, for ps3 idk...

passing: u dont need as much passing, its killing u. dont be afraid to just launch the ball downfield to one of ur speedy guys or just take it down the side... trust me it works.

shooting: use a lot of finesse with bent and sturridge right at the top corners of the box. run parallel with the ball to the box and just finesse it and it should easily curl in with bent and sturridge!

Try to practice a lot offline, also when playing offline try to keep your defensive line intact, as in if a player on the other comes up and he didn't even pass the the halfway line try to avoid pressing him [ x button I believe] with a defender, instead try to do it with a midfielder this because when you do it with a defender you will just create spaces for him to play through balls.

Holding R1 when the opponent has the ball is trampy but it works really well in stopping the opponent score. Just holding R1 and X can stop a lot of danger. Also on UT go for more extreme shots they seem to go in very easily in UT
