Just play normal offline matches at whatever difficulty you feel is right. Once you feel you're a bit better. Head to the online to adapt to the way other players play.
Overall it's just experience that will improve your game

As Belcome_X said above practice offline then go into online when you feel you're ready, also practice your through balls and crosses as they are important.
Turn analog sprint on. Helps your dribbling allot and its faster than walking/jogging. But it's not sprinting full out so you can dribble good!!!
