We will be introducing an important new feature to the FUT Transfer Market called Price Ranges.

Once the feature has been activated, all FUT items (players, in-forms, consumables, and club items) in FIFA Ultimate Team will have a Price Range that sets the highest and lowest coin prices that each item can be sold on the Transfer Market.

These new features are designed to:
Help FUT gamers understand the value of the players in their Club.
Make high-rated players more attainable for all FUT gamers and ensure a level playing field.
Further restrict illegitimate coin transfers on the Transfer Market.

Although the new FUT item Price Ranges will differ from current prices, their relative value to other player items on the Transfer Market will remain consistent in order to maintain a level playing field for everyone.

Here are some more important notes about Price Ranges:

All Price Ranges will be universal across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
When you list an item on the Transfer Market, the range at which an item can be sold will appear. These price ranges will be set by the FIFA Team based on analysis of past Transfer Market prices.
Open bid transfers will be unavailable after Price Ranges have been activated. In order to list an item on the Transfer Market, you will have to set a “Buy It Now” price within the Price Range.
The Price Range for each FUT item will be set wide enough for you to still enjoy trading on the Transfer Market.
The Price Range for certain players may be adjusted in the future as we work to improve this feature over time.
New ‘in-form’ FUT player items will receive a Price Range upon release.

We believe the long-term benefits of this new change will make FUT more fun and fair for everyone.

We know that this is a significant change to FUT, and so we want your feedback. We are confident that, in the long run, the FUT community as a whole will come to appreciate the balanced benefits that this new feature will bring to all FUT players, but it’s important you let us know what you think.

In conjunction with these changes, the Transfer Market will remain inaccessible from the Web and Companion Apps.

We look forward to hearing your feedback on Price Ranges. Be sure to follow @EASPORTSFIFA on Twitter, and LIKE us on Facebook to know when the feature has been activated.

What's your opinion on this? As much as I know many of you hate coin sellers, I think EA royally fucked up by introducing this half way through the game. Not only are the people who bought a ton of coins and have yet to spend them are new even more rich than they were, the legit players have most likely lost out on a ton of money due to this change which is benefiting the illegitimate players over the legitimate ones; especially if you invest with players and have invested over the past few weeks. All trading current methods are pretty much finished and no longer possible.

From what I can see, all players from now on will be valued whatever EA feels they should be valued and will stay the same through-out the year despite who they are or what they have applied. High end players such as Messi, Ronaldo, TOTY's, Legends etc. will all most likely be sold at max BIN making trading with them impossible. Their prices will never dip, and even if they do there's a limit set, so good luck buying them legitimately and without spending all your money on FIFA Points.

This definitely should have been released in a new FIFA.

Great thread, But to be honest EA have fucked up yet again... simply because people who have paid loads for IFS Such as myself for buying SIF/TIF players and who knows what their values may now be and now I have a feeling I'm going to lose a lot lol so yet again coin buyers who make the transfer market what it is by increasing player values have won by profiting and now I assume get the players cheaper whereas those who have payed stupid prices will now lose out yet more coins because of EA's dumb decisions lol but hopefully this will bring the app back on point so I can finally get back my coins from another account..

I literally just bought TIF Griezmann and SIF Benzema, so I lost out on that. And I need to transfer some coins from accounts too, the ones I use for trading :p Thing is, it's going to be a little more difficult to transfer coins now that they've set a max BIN limit. I hear that you can buy Cavani and use him, though I wonder if that'll change.

Lol wow, I was close to buying TIF Griezmann but I went for SIF Instead.. don't know if that was a bad or good decision but either way I am expecting to lose out? It's hard to tell lol but I suppose I can't sell him to buy TIF Griezmann because both values I assume will drop so there you go even more eason to believe they F*d up lol, so I guess I'm gonna lose out on SIF Cazorla & SIF Isco Not Happy or Sad But nothing compared to your benzema wow. Yeah I got a couple banned accounts with informs so I really hope there is some way to claim the values back.

Complete bitch move by EA. Perfect example to show how they don't care about their customers, they just want us to purchase Fifa points. Why would they release this after 6 months? If they started this from the beginning it would be OK but doing this now? Meh.. I mean, how the fuck are people supposed to get high rated players such as Messi, Ronaldo, etc now? They still cost 6 - 10Mil and to be honest, packing them? I doubt it and why would I waste 100€ for 12k Points, you make 0 profit out of it. Lets say you get 450 Coins after every match, so you would have to play 1400 games just to reach 6M, who the hell is gonna play that much in a short period of time? They say they did it for the "legit" players but in the end, they pretty much fucked everyone. Like Kizza09 already mentioned, pretty sure everyone made a huge loss due to buying informs/totys. I really thought they can't fuck this game more up like they did with the keepers but hey, they did it. In my opinion, it's extremely stupid.

Keeper
I think this would be ok at release of game, when Ronaldo costs 3.5 mill max, now getting 9 mill is...hopeless

It is just pointless what they have done, mabey if they did not put shit players in there packs people would not have to buy coins. As simple as that.

Maggbot timeout!
ideally its good for skids who know nothing about fifa!

but aint they a way round this for the coin seller???

like he puts a player up for the amount of coins you have bought you then swap your player for the play and you get your coins then the coin seller puts your player up for a low amount of coins like 150 and he gets the player back

not sure if it would work but worth a try Happy
