I tried but it doesnt work. I'm not really sure when to sign the controller out.

as soon as the game is kicked off, you sign the 2nd controller out. simple. just make sure you score before half time, otherwise the game will end.

Does that team there's only one player in the game playing? Cause I don't want like one of my player not moving (since it should be control by 2nd player)

no. when you sign the guest account out, you will have full control of your team.

doesnt work on ps3...
