Personally I can't see how having high rep will protect anyone from getting scammed, you could easily get a few friends to sign up and constantly rep you.

I have sold millions of coins but am sick of being suspended off of Ebay so am trying to get rid of them through forums and passing on the discount I save from not having the fee's.
