Post: Are EA helpful?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I got phished on Ultimate Team, I lost al least 3 million coins and basically everything I had in my club. i have contacted EA and theyve reported it.
The guy told me I would have to wait 10 days to 3 weeks for EA to contact me again (to send me a missing items form) and then they would take action. What I want to know is are they likely to do anything for me? Wil they get me back my players and coins? or will they tell me its tough luck and I have to start again

How did you get phished with 3million coins? did you actually attempt to get more coins with those websites even though you had 3million?

Seems a little greedy.

I love how you think you know exactly what happened LOL. Don't sit there and passs judgement on people when you have no idea. I got phished by the "bypass security question" method. Then they changed my web app account to their own email address by ringing EA and pretedning to be me, and they were mistakenly verified as me because "they knew what games I'd been playing". EA themselves have admitted that the company they used for security has mucked everything up.

They would need to know your email firstly wouldn't they?

It's slightly your own fault, I'm not sure if EA would help but they may, worth a try anyway right?

Holy crap... that must be definite rage matter, id lose my mind if i lost 3 million coins.
EA are known to be abit of tightasses, they say they'll contact you but majority of the time they reply that they can't do anything unless you sue them... which they DO really need to, why the hell would someone give details over the phone... don't they know this?

EA needs to get their shit sorted out, ASAP.

Thats the thing, they didnt know any of my details whatsoever. When I told the guy that he told me that it was possible to hack someones account by knowing how many players, kits, balls etc the club had. Which was the security problem I was talking about earlier :p

Oh well :( Hopefully I'll get my stuff back

Ill hope it with you but i don't think so.
EA isn't responsible for this. Terms of Service say they aren't responsible for any loss or damage
