FIFA Ultimate Team Trading Advice

So I thought i would start a thread where members of the community could post there own methods of trading, there are a lot of guides out there with numerous methods of trading however as the market changes each day so do the most effective methods of trading. This thread can be a place for members to share there ideas and methods. Most FUT player have heard of methods such as the bronze pack method and the gold discard method but there are numerous methods that many players are yet to hear of.

For example many FUT players haven't heard of the 1,2,3 methods that Fludah invented back in FIFA 12, it involves setting a minimum price of say 5K, a maximum price of 10K and a miniumum buy now of 15K (although these figures can be altered depending on the amount of coins you have). By doing this you will aim to sort the market to display players valued at 15K and upwards with bids of between 5-10K on them. Using You must login or register to view this content. you can evaluate whether the player is selling for below his average price and if he's in a good formation he will sell for slightly more, you will miss a lot of opportunities but you may also pick up the odd gem. This is just one of many many methods available for trading on FUT and i'll post a link below to a video by Youtuber Coleybo3 to help some of you better understand. I will also post a link below to a free download of the CrazyRichGamer guide for anyone that wants it, don't pay for it, the methods in it are well known however the guide does explain it very well. Just thought it would be sensible to perhaps start a thread that may work as a type of trading FAQ for novices. Feel free to share any methods you have or links to youtube videos you found particularly helpful! Smile

Mass Bidding

What you want to be doing here is scanning the market to find players withing your budget, (try and pick a player you can afford to put at least 15 bids on to increase your chances of picking up a few bargains). Luis Muriel is a great player to start with, normally you can pick him up for between 1-2K. When you have decided which player you want to place your bids on you want to: (I will use Muriel as an example)

-Search for the player on the market to find out what his lowest buy now price is eg. Muriel, ST, 4-1-2-1-2, Gold, Columbia, Serie A, Udinese, Buy Now - 1400

-Once you discover what his buy now price is you want to aim a few hundred coins lower in order to generate some profit, i recommend using a profit calculator as it is easy to track the coins you have made as EA take 5% tax. (You must login or register to view this content.)

- So we now have discovered Muriel's lowest Buy Now is 1400 and we are aimming to pick him up for no more than 1100 in order to generate a profit of 230 coins per player (this may not seem like much but it soon adds up)

-Clear the buy now price of your search and type the value you are using as your maximum bid into maximum price eg. 1100.

-Go through the list of players and bid on all players that fall within your boundaries, and don;t be tempted to overpay if you're outbid, there will be other players.

-Repeat. (EASY!) Smile

*Remember that the best times to pick up players is between 12am and about 4pm but this can stretch to 5pm or 6pm depending on the day. Make sure you list your players between 6pm and 12am as this is the peak time in the market!
