you need to jailbreak it. there is an exploit that works. on 4.82 OFW version.

There is an exploit that was released which you can use a USB for to downgrade/jailbreak the console. If its a 3k-4k model you can only use the other exploit by the same developer to gather system info like IDPS+PSID from the PS3.

I'm in the US. I have shipped over there and they ran about 70USD. What would you want for it? I have controllers etc.
