Ok sorry to get your hopes up. Now you realise that the card is not activated at the register. As many people on here are now sellnig cards they are getting in challenge lobbies I think it's important to show that not all cards are as they seem.

I've been purchasing quite a few as of late and see many try and palm off cards that are never activated. There is no way to prove that a card you have is valid. Just be cautious with every purchase.

This message is designed only to inform you that SONY sucks when it comes to PSN card numbers, it should tell you whether the card is invalid before showing that there is an amount to be claimed.

This code is fake in the sense that everything looks right until you go to add the funds.

I've gotten that code like 13 times from people trying to buy a spot on my friendslist, it doesn't work.

That's why you accept payment before providing services such as Challenge lobbies. Once it's in the account you know its real.

i get the idea of this thread, but at the same time, ppl are now been made aware of this fault and psn fraud on ngu could increase as ppl who didnt know now do!!
