I dont get how i am ripping him off. He sold one to someone else for £15. If i was going to buy it for Full price i would just put my card details in on PSN and buy it from there and that way there is no chance of getting scammed.

These cards (on the internet) have a value over whatever it's really worth though, because of how many people don't have credit cards etc to use.

But I won't say any more about it, I think I'm probably interfering a little too much for my own good haha :p

A lot of people on NGU get them from hosting lobbies, and do not want them. Therefore the value to them is substantially less. Would you rather have 10pounds cold hard cash or a useless 20 pound card?

Also most of the stuff you can buy on PSN you can get in physical disc..

Hell even retailers sell them for less. Just look at amazon.. at sale times you can buy a 20pound card for 14.99.. I think thats an exorbitant amount and shows just how much they actually cost the stores.. Probably in the proximity of 10 pounds.

Also store credit is all but useless except to buy expansion content of which people will usually gameshare.

These online stores that try and sell at a markup are whos ripping you off..

Of course if you asked someone to buy you a card knowing that they would have to pay full price for it then I'd say you couldn't expect a lower rate.

All of what you just said means nothing when the cards can be immediately sold on eBay for at least the face value.

Theres more scams on ebay than there are here.. But take it as you will.
From a seller that is, if your card is a dud or you do a paypal refund scam.
Ebay will also have fees and charges.
