Im going with permanent as it's not failed on me yet and i fixed it 2 moths ago lol ive fixed it twice the first time was with a heat gun and it lasted for 2 days and the 2nd was a oven and it been running strong for 2 month's!

I'm thinking about it. I'm just scared it will get ylod of death as soon as I get it. That's just how my luck is. If it does get ylod, will you reimburse me? I'd let you keep the hauppauge, I would just be looking for say $100 to help me break even. If your fix is top-notch, then you have no worries and none of that needs to happen. Sound good? What state are you in?

I'd just be using it for playing some of the exclusives as I already have a xbox. I've fixed them before, but they always seem to revert back in due time. I just don't want to be left with a faulty product and have lost my hauppauge. I want this deal to go through, I just don't want to have to deal with fixing another.

Well here's how you fix them the right way!
Take the thing apart till you get to the motherboard and that only
Put it in the oven on a baking ban for 8 mins at 450 and it should work like a pro then just repaste it!
And does the HD pvr come with everything?
And if it Break's ill pay for the SliverPaste!

Everything except the disc, it can easily be found online.
