In box or not. You are "Not" a store meaning it is "Used" it will never be new.
I CAN package an old item in a box and make you think it is "New". You can buy the repacking machine at walmart for like $10. That will make the wrap look new.
I'm not saying you did this. OR saying you didn't. But your asking $20 less than new on every website there is. That is insane.
Used HD PVR is worth no more (Meaning "at most") $100 and that would include shipping. I'm sorry that you feel that if you and only you buy something that it is still worth the same as the store sells them, but it is not.
SIDE NOTE:
If you ever buy anything from NGU NEVER SEND AS A GIFT like the person above me said.
If you get scammed you will NEVER get money back. Always send normal NEVER as a Gift.
Agreed
unless you're a trusted seller in which you can be vouched that sending as a gift won't actually be detrimental in any shape or form to the consumer. Although then again, if the person's not willing - Then I suppose they shouldn't be considering buying it in the first place.
Frankly, I'd prefer paying as Goods first then once I get my item, would ask for a refund and then send it full as a Gift to verify it works. That's usually something that people don't trust but if there's insecure about that around transactions with me then I suppose there shall be no transactions period.
//Edit:
For selling used [even if "new" in the first place] items, usually the best way to go about it would be setting a reasonable starting bid.
I've seen eBay auctions starting at 0.99 [Mine included] and escalating to hundreds of dollars. Mine went from 0.99 to $150.00.
And although it may be "new" - The question I'd like to pose [even if it's against your policy so to speak], would be - If it HASN'T been opened, what was the point of possessing it in the first place?
This raises many questions for an interested, smart consumers.
- Did he acquire it through
illegal means? - If so, can I be just as responsible?
- Did he acquire it through a contest/event? If so, why wasn't this mentioned and why is there no proof?
- Did this a
fake and
illegitimate copy? And if so - Should I be appear of near future failures?
//Re Edit:
For all those who were in suspicion of me "trolling" in my earlier posts, take in mind that I enacted in a more satirical manner as to what type of seller this is. This ultimately revealed as to how flexible he could be.
Although now that the price is $160 USD - I can see that he is willing and lenient.
