Much simpler to go to gamestop, tell them you want a ps3 on 3.55 or lower firmware. Buy it, take it home, put CFW on it.

Gamestop update their ps3;s to the latest ones. Out all the 100,000 member 4% can buy it lol XD, hopefully they see it. People can send me offers, so its not all out.

I think the idea is to see if they have any used that haven't been updated.

Well I have been posting/lurking in the auctions for quite a while and I have never seen any1 offer more than $200 for a ps3 here, at least from wht I've seen.

how did u verify they were on 3.55? Did they let you hook it up to one of their tv's or something so see if it was?
