Yeah, DLC (addons) aren't region-free. However, full games are region-free. For example, if I have an U.S. copy of MW3, UK map pack addons won't work. However, if I gameshared a full game (U.K. version) of MW2 from the PSN store, it'll work on any console, but the DLC's must be U.K only.
