Im planning to buy a 3.50 ps3 off ebay okay guys.

I am checking if the downloads are on my 4.20 PS3 the 3.55 OFW and the Geohot's 3.55 JB to see if they are on my USB

The 3.55 JB comes up properly, and it's ready to install but the offical firmware for 3.55 just comes up with No applicable data was found.

Help guys I need this fixed in time for my 3.50 PS3 arriving.

I have checked the folder properly and It says PS3 - UPDATE - PS3UPDAT.PUP

I have no where else to turn, please help me.

Are you trying to do 4.20 to 3.55? That won't work. Not sure what you are talking about, but try updating from the recovery menu.

No Im seeing if the firmwares are on my usbs with my 4.20 it comes up with the jailbreak but when I put the offical 3.55 fw on it dosent show?

A 4.20 PS3 won't search for a FW any lower than what it is on.

Thank you for your help, but I ended up buying a HD PVR
Anyways this has regained my confidence of buying a 3.55
Guess Im gonna have to save up again :L
