Honestly nothing like that is impossible. Their are some people who will sell stuff like that pretty cheap just because they need the money. But it make need to be repaired a little if their selling it for $40, try Ebay or even Craigslist. Maybe you'll get lucky :y:

If you have a really close friend that has a jailbroken PS3 and is giving up on modding, then that person would most likely sell it for that low to you.

However, it would be impossible to find it for that low around here. Most of them go for at least $100 minimum.

Useless? All you have to do is replace the disk drive, which I just did. Works perfectly fine. Definitely not useless.

$40 is not bad but I don't have the money >.< I bought my 3.55 PS3 for alot lol
