Yes, this is a major problem if you ever bought an account like this. Honestly, only reason why people buy these accounts is because they buy it cheaper from the seller and they have that much in store. They think they can use the $ to buy stuff like DLCs or Games but they dont know if the account was ever used by another guy, and most importantly that Sony may ban it anytime due to what you said above. Thanks for letting us know tho Winky Winky

Yes correct also whether they used credit card or not they can still be banned with exploitation & fraud.
95% its all leaked/stolen credit card information in a list ready to be used.

But the bank account that is using the credit card can just be closed by the original owner to avoid this, thats if the owner can see in time.

It probably has but there can be more than one victim in this case.

I just thought I will be honest since I was think to making a service like this but no there's no paypal glitch or anything its all stolen credit cards being used in other words fraud.

I personally won't have any of these accounts touch my PS3, to avoid a console ban.

This is just a heads up and I don't think this should be allowed on NextGenUpdate at all, these accounts can be purchased from Ebay & Hackforums and most of them have the same credit info. If this was done through glitch/hacks then credit card data won't even be visible on the transaction details.

If you've bought these accounts already and have purchased anything using these accounts you are at risk of a console ban for credit fraud that is taken very seriously by Sony.

You may have noticed most of the sellers don't even know the method of how the $150 was in the account that is because they have purchased these accounts else where and maybe wishing to make a little more income here. If you've purchased these accounts I suggest you look at the transaction details and compare it with other accounts that are selling $150 in wallet for cheap.

Great thread :y:

It doesn't even matter if the money in the account is legit. Once its spent, Sony flag that as fraud. I know this because I was a dumb 13 year old once.

They aren't using "stolen" account or "stolen" credit cards. They found an exploit in the new feature where you add PSN money via paypal.

It doesn't matter how much money it is, still counts as fraud.
