So, as I'm sure most of you are not aware of if you have an Amazon Prime membership you are able to add up to four household members to your account and that way they can benefit from the shipping discounts (free two day shipping and discounted overnight shipping) on their account(s) as well as you on your account. They will never need access to your account, never gain access to any of your information they are essentially a sub account of your account which would be considered the main account. Other Amazon Prime membership benefits such as Prime Instant Video, Prime Music, and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library can't be shared. Only the shipping benefits will be shared.
As you have probably already guessed I'm looking to be added as a household member to one of your accounts. If you are subscribed to Amazon Prime and your membership lasts at least 8 months from the current date please quote me below. If you have less than 8 months left on your subscription you would have to be a very trusted member and in that case we would have to come to an agreement that you will be subscribing again when your membership ends.
Here's how the process works directly from Amazon.
To manage sharing your Amazon Prime membership:
1. Go to Manage Prime Membership .
2. Click Invite a household member.
You can then do the following:
Share your membership by entering the name, relationship, birthday, and e-mail address of the person you'd like to share the membership with along with your birthday.
Note: The person you invite will need to know the month and day of your birthday to accept the invitation.
Here's a bit of information on it directly from Amazon.
