Let me exaplin this better; would you say a 50%, 60%, or 70% was a shit mark for your exam?

I got a 71% on my history exam(woohoo), and 70% on my English exam(pretty good actually).

My mom thinks other wise. Clearly a 71% & a 70% just doesn't cut it. I'm getting like an 80%+ in every single one of my classes, yet my mom begs to differ. She says it's "completely shit".

I'm happy with my grade, she should too.

Let me put it into a different perspective; last year my final average was 84.6%.. She WASN'T happy.

IMO, >75 is bad, 75-80 is average. 90's and up are good. I'm kicked off xbox because I got 3 70's last marking period :/

If your mom doesn't agree with your grades, shes probably right. Do better next time.

I know, i just never do homework but get really good test/quiz grades.

I did the same but HW f**ks your grade up if you don't do it.

Depends what percent you need for a grade. B or higher is good. C isn't great but its not terrible. Anything less is shit imo.

I think she's saying it's shit to motivate you, a lot of stupid parents do this(fortunately not mine). Tell her if she's trying to motivate you, make you your favourite meal the night before an exam. And if she says she's really not happy w/ the marks then tell her to STFU, it's not helping.

Anything below an A* which is generally 85%+ in most subjects I'd be disappointed with, but I've got pretty high standards so.

Im doing my A-Levels at the moment and the best marks in the class are usally B-Grades (Thats in Maths) and for Physics the best are c grades, the next maths exam im doing though I expect to get an A because it's on a really easy statistics topic. Also for A-Levels anything 60% Onwards is considered a good grade and the A boundry is 75% A* does not exist until you do A2.
