I personally think he was a great captain, but that's probably just because I support Chelsea

He was a good captian, but a captain should be a role model for fans as well as players and due to the recent press about him i don't feel he met that, sad but thats life.

In all seriousness though, it's his own fault. For 100k a week I would be a ****ing saint. For that sort of cash a week over a 10 year career plus sponsorships I would give up sex! just because you are in the public eye does not mean you have to be a role model.

especially athletes who's only requirement is to have skill in the game and position they play.

He has removed from his position because of the publics perception of him and the position he holds

rio failed a drug test an has just been baned for 4 matches for elbowin some1 in the face, i personaly think capello is a fool dropping terry hes englands only real quailty captain an should have been only judged on his on the field form not what he does off it, its not like we get jobs and can lose them based on what we do outside of the company so i dont see why hes lost the captains arm band because of stuff hes done outside of football, its a private life for a reason
