(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im about to be on my way to college next year. I start applying in a month and honestly, I just don't know. I don't know what college/uni I want to go to. Idk what to major in because Idk what will benefit me most. Idk what I want to do as a career because there are so many options.

So what do I do to at least start somewhere? It is pretty stressful figuring out how you're gonna start the next big chapter of your life...

I'd say you have two choices, one is take a gap year get a job for a while and give yourself a break from education as that can help to evaluate your situation and gives you some experience of what the real world and a better perspective on what you're options are and will likely help you make a decision on what you want to major in at college / uni.

Alternatively, just pick any STEM course and do that, I recently graduated from uni with a First Class Honours degree in CompSci, but I work along side people that have degrees and masters in maths and physics that do the same job, as long as you go STEM you'll do fine. I'm working as a developer / technical consultant right now.

Bro it doesn't matter you'll change majors 3 times before you graduate. Just get the gen eds done

@Gambler

He has a point. Take your gen eds and find a passion through events, opportunities, and activities. I literally have only been in college for a year and I've changed my major about 3 times and I'm still not sure what I want to pursue. As long as you're sure college is for you, then you're fine. I would also advise to move at your own pace and take your time.
