i dont think its greedy men at the top its more of a case of portsmouth acting like leeds, spending a mass amount of money on players but them players struggle to have the impact they thought they would have hence they are in the postion they are in, its a fine line lower tier clubs have to play, do they spend the 20+ million they get for being in the prem or dont spend it an hope they are good enough, portsmouth spent a lot of money over the past few years an its backfired hence the postion they find themselfs in now
Yeah that was the problem in the first place. Since they have been sold though, none of their new owners are willing to pile the cash in to bail them out. They're mental in my opinion, Premier league football is a cash cow. Say he piles 30 million into the club that he got for around 20 million he's laughing. Premier league clubs have turnovers of well in excess of 100million.
