(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I've seen the shawshank redemption lots of times. And I love it every time.
But I can't work out why!
Perhaps it's the gentle flow with no real objective in the plot, much in the way of Pulp Fiction or Rushmore (films I also love), or just Morgan Freeman's narration?

Help me work out why and lets hear your reasons.

It's just one of those film that grips you and you hope for the happy ending, you just don't expect it (first time round) to happen how it does.
It's awesome!

I can't count how many times I have seen ShawShank and it's my #1 movie all time with Scarface comming in at 2nd. ShawShank to me pulls you in to the movie and you start to like Andy and root for him. Not to mention the great acting and the time period of the movie it's all kind of subtle and comes togethere well. "You remember the name of the town don't you" how many times did it take before you actually remembered ?? lol
