Post: I hate eBay

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, here is my story:

I am looking a more professional video camera for my interests in filming skateboarding and other things. I was on eBay looking for a cheap camera, but still in good condition. I find one (You must login or register to view this content.). I bid $450 for the camera, tapes, batteries, chargers, a fisheye lens, etc. The bid ends in a couple hours, so I was feeling good about winning. Then when there was 5 hours left and a user bided over a hundred dollars more. That pissed me off.

That's my story. You guys have any eBay stories?

One way to possibly prevent what happened to you is to NEVER bid unless you're "sniping" (bidding at the last possible moment). This way it keeps bidding wars from happening and keeps the price lower than if two people were continually outbidding each other. There is absolutely no logic whatsoever in bidding unless it's at the last second, because if someone wants to outbid you, then they'll have a chance to.

Yeah, the same guy (on a different account) kept betting on his own item.

Lol I love eBay.I usually use buy it now but with bidding you can usually get the item alot cheaper, and I think eBay has this new thing where if the item isn't completely what you wanted, eBay will pay you back.Sold my broken xbox on eBay :P I did say it was broken though,so...

At least I can fight
I was buying a t-shirt from a guy in israel and it was the last one left of its kind in his ebay store. I bought it, paid, and waited to get it. 5 days later i went on to check the route of my shirt and i found a message from the seller saying that the shirt i wanted to buy was damaged and that he would rather not send it. I was like ok well do you have any others exactly like it? He messaged me back saying he had one in a size larger which was perfect because thats the size i was looking for originally. So I said yes and waited 10 days for my shirt to come. I go to the tracker on ebay and find another message from the seller asking to terminate the transaction. I was like FML! so i said fine and i got my money back :( I hate ebay!
