Ronaldo was great and he scored a lot of goals but i think manu didnt really nead them. They seem to be fine without him so far this season, we have plenty of players who are capable of filling his job. I think someone already mentioned rooney.

AC and Man U are both great teams
Man U was my favorite back when Ronaldo was playing for them, I think they were at their best when they had him
However they have been managing with out him and have some great players, the best probably being Rooney.
